what a truly odd game. I approve :)

Question: How often can you change your home point, and what are the consequences of this? During the week, I tend to run near work.. I do more miles in Reading than I do at home in Guildford. Could I change my home point on a Monday to near work and then change it back at the weekends? In fact, would there even be any advantage in doing this?

Presumably if either is in a place where there are lots of other Fetchies you could still play at that one without it needing to be your home zone. Not sure keeping on changing it would work. There are obviously Fetchies near us, emdee, as there are loads of markers all over the place..

Troo.. I haven't really got my head around it yet. I went out for a little 6 miler tonight and went from -43 to +701 so was pleased with that, without really understanding it!

I have only just looked at this and I'm on a score of -32. Must read the small print. ;-)

Sorry I'm sure this has been asked, but does the first red circle on the map equate to the point beyond which bugs must be moved?

More thinking out loud than a proper question...

I'm on an isolated island of markers to the South West of Birmingham.

As a cyclist, it looks like my best tactic would be to round up my bugs, one at a time, then drop them in the Stourbridge/Wolverhampton area.
Hopefully, the runners in that area will keep bouncing them around between each other for ever more, earning me 10 points a time, while never running far enough to drop them back on me.

IM - yes, the circles are one, two, three mile radiusesiiii's, for your reference. If you've got no bugs within a mile, no penalty.

I'm enjoying reading about all the tactics that people plan to employ. I'm pretty sure there'll be some rule changes for December :-)

A mile as the crow flies is a sight further than the mile as the Iron Mum shambles... Pesky crows... ;-)
