The other day I’m sure I went through a relay heading east and a relay heading west, but neither moved.

Thanks Fetch, it now means its easier to plant beds and get them near maturity benefitting from the arithmetic geometric progression of flower planting without the destruction caused by Fetchies wanting a high score. Stellar guy

Sorry Chrisity you'll have to wait a while to gain shedloads of flower points. Congrats on getting into the top 100 though.

@Shortcut Cam sometimes they're like that; I can't work out why. Similarly, I've found @JCB's tactic fetcheveryone.com/forum/fetchpoint-the-game-48002/2409 (of moving a relay to a cardinal point in your area and then going through it repeatedly to generate points) sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Often that generates no points at all. One thing I have found is that an accidental duplicate activity upload will generate points from a relay when the first upload didn't score anything. I guess that relays a bit 'buggy'. |

sorry to be robbing you ftr, but you got all of mine in part (a very small part) exchange. I'm trying to get to 10000 before i lose your presents, so hopefully i shouldn't be bothering you again. |

JCB’s post kind of makes sense. The two relays were on either end of Hungerford Bridge. The destinations would be the Embankment and Waterloo station which are normally clogged with bugs.

Chrisity, you'll get there if you focus, it will be about 6 weeks later. If I was being mean I would have cycled over to nab your diamonds and rubies this week, but I'm naturally not like that. I've switched focus to Conquercise because ironically the loss of watering points meant it was impossible to get to 50000. Last week 13 zones in the year, now 68. Due to doing my meniscus in, I cannot run at all and so the HM training was put on hold hence why I came back here. Fetchpoint was a focus to get me to move every day, now it's Conquercise. Therefore a new approach which could be win win is that I only water flowers in the last 2 weeks of the 42 days. Fetch has made that easy to see rather than the pain of clicking on every single flower. As I say win win. I'm hoping that going far and wide will enable a push to 50k in Fetchpoint in 10 weeks time, given that I'm not going to Swindon for the Ring. Have fun, stay safe and enjoy your running and cycling.

@oranj: the second upload scoring might be due to the first upload clearing a spot for the relay. It can be hard to make the nw-most point of your activity, for example, be somewhere that has something already, especially with gps wiggle. WSW can help as the grid often confines the activity. 😉 I also find that relays are a bit finicky as to scoring or not. In theory the same activity the next day having the same cardinal points extremities onto another item should score the same. Maybe it’s to do with partial miles and the distance already clocked up by the relay. |

@JCB no that wasn't it. I remember There was space for the relay to move to but it only went on the second upload. Saying that, if you can keep nudging a high-value relay along, it'll earn some good points
