Good luck Lizzie!

I’ve just munched a bag of crisps not like me midweek but I suppose these things happen. Hoping I sleep better tonight and wake up more resilient tomorrow.

I went to another watercolour class tonight. We painted a fox (we were given an outline drawing and her painting to gauge from) I’m over the moon with it. I have said to OH that maybe I need a book and paints for my birthday if I’m drawing & painting I can’t eat & drink 😆

That's gorgeous.
I took up my crafty stuff a few years ago for that very reason. I should get back to it ;-)

I weighed this morning and as feared, I'm now mid-way between the half stone and the next stone up, instead of being just under the half stone marker. At least I said no when OH offered toast as a mid-evening snack last night, but that's a drop in the ocean of unnecessary calories I've consumed over the last few weeks :-( I managed to maintain my weight over the summer but I've just got tired of monitoring my food intake all the time.

Thanks guys! I really enjoyed it.

It’s the constant monitoring and worrying about eating it takes the fun and enjoyment out of life. I’m not going to monitor on MFP but I’m going to write down what I’ve had in a notebook as I can gauge what is acceptable.

It’s been the weekends with family & friends that’s been my killer. Hubby & I don’t often overeat (mostly the opposite) but when we’ve had people boating with us making a conscious effort to make 3 meals and have snacks available and with others often drinking more - definitely earlier all adds up. Last week just 2 of us and being 1.5lb down on Mondays weight, 1 up on Fridays was a result. This morning that 1 has gone too. Still 5.5lb a over where I got too so there is work too be done and I’m going to keep trying but in a more relaxed way (she hopes)

Morning gang how are we all?

My attempt to lose weight has failed epically. I’m now off to Mallorca on Thursday and when I get back I have to get a grip.

I can only presume it’s the difference in training since the ultra as the weight has gone on since the race while I’m still doing higher miles maybe the longer runs made the difference. It has also been the main part of summer with extra weekends away so after this next trip I have to hope I can get it back under control.

It’s such a battle isn’t it and god it comes on way quicker than it comes off.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Morning, you beat me to posting in here today.

I am on holiday this week and I seriously need to get a grip on my eating. Still the same weight but caught a glimpse of myself on Saturday as I left for parkrun and the shape is not a look I like at all.
It’s not all HRT’s fault but it’s certainly a factor in my case.

Enjoy your holiday GG

I’ve updated the spreadsheet gutted to see I’m 2lb up on where I was when I updated in January and now 10lb up where I got to in May. I’m still over a stone down on where I was a couple of years ago but I was much happier earlier this year.
