I was very pleasantly surprised when I weighed yesterday morning to find I'd stayed the same last week. I'd eaten and drunk a lot more with my sister staying with us and exercised a lot less. I wonder if there'll be a delayed reaction. Time to get back on the wagon anyway, my liver needs a rest :-0

Sounds like you and your sister had a great time that is life well lived.

It’s a bit bizarre but I often notice when the balance switches less exercise - more calories I can lose or STS. I put it down to the dieting phase when the calories are too low and your body can then hold the calories. It’s a fine balancing act & I have learnt to try not to over compensate the following

Mandy, I'm good at maintaining, but shifting is so hard.

I've finally started a verrry slight downward trend 🤞

Not sure what is going on but I have put a 1lb on :-(

Proper exercise has been awol as spending most of my free time chasing up people re Mum or having to deal with her many texts. Anyhow can’t be feeling sorry for myself so going to try some HiiT to see if that luck starts anything. Will pop back in next Friday to let you know if it works.

All the best to the rest of you and good luck on the scales xxx

Keep going, WW, and good luck with the HIIT x

Having maintained quite nicely for about 10 months, I've put on half a stone over the last 2 months and I'm really struggling to get rid of it. I'll get there eventually, I suppose, but it's very frustrating.

I need to record a couple of pounds gain this week. Not surprising as I've not logged what I've been eating and it hasn't been either healthy or balanced.
Hope that the three-course pub lunch with mum yesterday is the main culprit and that the gain isn't real.

Recording a 2lb gain today. I shouldn't be surprised as I've fallen back into bad habits, so it's very good I have this thread and Fetch's reminder to weigh every week to remind me to stop the rot!

Hormones is a big thing for me i guess. Im in the beginning of the forties.
Not that i need to loose a lot mabybe, but since i run every day, and about 40-50km per week and have done so for 6 month now.
ive only lost 3 kg in these last six months. 🤣
I eat lowcarb and have been doing that for a bout 10 years. I dont drink alcohol.
I usually fast 20/4 as well.
Still the mid section and love handles bother me.

Would be nice to be really shredded and look like a avid runner a little moore..
Well slowly slowly i maybe getting there.
