Massively chuffed to have lost 1.6kg this week! Totally unexpected as I am still not very well. There is obviously something to this low carb thing :) but am away this weekend so it's going to be lot more challenging

Well done to everyone else whose numbers are moving in the direction they want

LG and Tomsmum - excellent progress!

I have just finished my lunch. Home-made cream of mushroom soup with a slice of low-carb seed bread, slathered in a butter. Then a chunk of Wensleydale cheese with a few pecan nuts. What a hardship!

Hi, hope no one minds if I join you all I need some accountability before another failed effort on my part. I replaced the battery in the scales this morning and the good news is I have lost 4lbs since Sept 2015 (the last time I was brave enough). The bad news is I could be doing with shifting 1/3rd of my body weight :-( Have spend the last week since being back at work tracking everything I eat in myfitnesspal, switching to home made soups, good proteins/fats, salads and cutting down on bread,cakes, snacks and alcohol. Going to keep at that for another week then start the Blood Sugar Diet next Saturday (which at 800 cals is going to be tough).

Welcome on boar, shyfire. I need to lose almost a third of my body weight too.... not counting the 4 stone I've already lost. You are not alone.
