Yes, I'd be interested in one. I suppose it depends on the demand.

I have deaf colleague and she mentioned the see-through masks which were not that well known of a few months back. I did not think they would work as they would either build up condensation or need to have perforations which defeat their purpose altogether. Thankfully, she is a fantastic lip reader as my 200+ words of Makaton is quite limited!

12bar, I'm sorry, this is not an easy time for those with hearing loss. Do you have any ideas or thoughts on alternatives that would make it easier for the deaf community?

I thought wearing a mask while doing fairly intense exercise (e.g. running) was a Bad Idea? 😟

Having said that, a quick Google does show it is a thing, so maybe it's fine. Just difficult!

Yup, urban cyclists have been wearing them for years to filter particulates.
Probably doesn’t make a lot of difference in terms of COVID when you’re running outside, unless you’re running alongside somebody for a while - the droplets disperse too quickly outside for there to be much infection risk.

If Galen Rupp can run a 60 minute half marathon wearing a pollen filter mask, I don’t think it can be that much of a problem tbh.

I think it’s strongly suspected that Galen had some other help, but point taken.

I don't know, but aren't pollen particles larger than the Covid virus cells. So a pollen filter mask isn't the same
