Would you wear one?
Face masks are already compulsory here in Spain and there are quite a few designs hitting the shops already, it got me wondering if it could be something Ron Hill could produce for Fetch. I think they would go well with the AVOID shirts š

Thatās a good idea. I have a Fetch buff that I use for a face covering but if there was a proper mask available I would get one.

I'm quite depressed about it all. I understand the medical intention behind it, but how am I supposed to lip read someone in a shop or on a bus. I just hope some hard nut doesn't take exception to me not wearing a face mask. I feel even more alienated from society now.

That's a real tough one 12bar for lip reading, but why does that preclude you wearing one or is it that you expect to be lip-read too? Genuine question, just trying to understand.

I find it highly unlikely that see-through face masks will be worn by the entire population just so deaf people like me can lip read what is being said.
I am exempt from wearing a face mask because I am classed as disabled, i.e. profound/severe hearing loss. I have to resort to lip reading or sign language as even with my hearing aids in, I struggle to hear everyday sounds & speech. The only way I can really understand what people are saying is by āreadingā their lips.
