I ran across that bridge this morning. They've just started reconstruction work on the stone arches. There's a traffic light system and one pavement is closed. It's a bit chaotic, I'd get a move on if I were you ♪♫ Synge ♪♫ Must be really pissing them off having to organise construction with 55 of us milling about trying to summon up the courage to jump in.

But it's so cosy snuggled up with 54 other people, and so nice to be able to after all those years of social distancing. Even if some of you need to be introduced to Lifebuoy.

A big benefit of using a pool at a posh school is that after they break-up it seems the pool gets very little use - another session with a lane entirely to myself and plenty of time resulted in my first 5k swim

Goofed the next two weeks are holiday timetables at my pool and less lame swim sessions. Think you will take the lead

Yes, at my pool too they've ditched all the daytime lane sessions for the next 2 weeks, only early mornings or evenings.

I'm probably going to have to calm it down a bit myself, don't want to end up injured!

No swimming for me for the next two days as our pool is closed for cleaning. As it is a spa water outdoor pool with no chemicals it has to close every six weeks to get drained and cleaned. I'll have a bit of catching up to do later in the week, still aiming towards CP1.
