It's about 10 miles in the car - 45 mins - 1 hour depending on traffic. Train wise it's a bit of a b*gger as you have to go into town and then come out again...

Croydon - Purley - Ewell Bypass - Tolworth Tower - A3 - Scilly Isles Roundabout - Molesey - Walton

There's probably a quicker way - I've only lived here for a few months!!

By train probably about an hour and a quarter, just change at Clapham. By road, about 40 minutes maybe?

Might be a bit far for me then but we'll see. I'm from Birmingham but have a few friends in Croydon from my time at uni. Thought I might kill two birds with one stone :-)
