What does everyone doing this think about the medals? Would you pay an extra couple of quid for one?

I love medals, but isn't the number required going to be a little uncertain until the last minute?

Medals for those who take it seriously, not for people who treat it as a social occasion. Will any man beat me into last place? I was last man at my London mile.

What about a medal that is suitable to all Fetch mile races, so they can be passed on to the next race wherever that may be?

Have just gone through the calendar for 2009 and discovered that there aren't as many weekends as I thought. Am double booked with a 40th birthday party in Leominster. 3 line whip I'm afraid so I will have to give up the chance to come along and meet lots of lovely Fetchies (having never knowingly met one before!). Looking forward to Surrey Mile Part 2 though.....
