Ooh.

The wife has had three months of terrible PGP. Could barely walk, trouble sleeping. Nothing helped.

On Monday this suddenly stopped.

Anyway, she's seen the midwife now, baby is now head down and lying on her side, also now gone from "off the scale" to 90th centile.

Nearly there...

That's great news DeeGee :-)
She must feel such relief, on both fronts!

She's still in some discomfort, but a lot less. Which makes me happy.

She was discussing the birth plan with the midwife. The midwife asked if I'd like to cut the cord.

My view has always been that if I'm in a hospital room, surrounded by highly qualified professionals, the last person that should be handling surgical equipment is me.

Deegee cutting the cord is brilliant, it is clamped off and you'll be guided as to where to cut. Re the PGP with Edith I found the last month a lot easier than before and enjoyed the end of the pregnancy, glad she's feeling a bit more comfortable

Few more months to go with PGP then!

My husband has just booked a mum to be spa day for me at the end of the month for my birthday :) Couldn't think of anything I wanted and being pampered seems the perfect solution!

DeeGee I cut the cord when my little one was born and it is a nice feeling to be involved in the delivery as there's not a great deal for Dad to do during delivery other than hang around

The delivery team wouldn't let Dads do anything remotely dangerous to baby or Mum so my advice is to do it
