Garfield Sep 2020 11:54am, 3 Sep 2020 13,879 posts	0 Garfield My trumpet teacher used to play one of those things! FDNB, the different notes are harmonics from the base note...and are fiendishly hard to play unless your lip is very well developed! (Mine isn't!)

Angus Clydesdale Sep 2020 12:08pm, 3 Sep 2020 19,538 posts	0 Angus Clydesdale It’s sort of a bit like whistling. The harder you blow and the tighter your lips the higher the note. You also use your tongue in a kind of “ta-ta-ta” type of motion to separate the notes.
