You should have seen the looks I got for breaking out my track spikes at the Berkshire Fetch Mile, it was like the time I wore 5 fingered gloves in Norwich.

More important than the choice of footwear for tomorrow, is drinking taking place before, during and after the miles? Or are we just repairing to a local pub once we've had enough running round in circle? Basically, am I buying beer as well as Powerade on the way to Battersea?

Usually we go to a nearby pub, but if the weather is good we could picnic in the park
