I believe anyone can set up a poll if they like :-)

I suggested Saturday 11th May because no date will suit everyone and this date suits me. It's in May so warm but not peak marathon month, it's not one of the two May bank holiday weekends, and it's not my first wedding anniversary.

Let's wait till the end of the evening for anyone to cry foul and then settle on that date. I'll offer to book the track.

Though with a mile time of 12:40 today, I may not bother to "race" when may comes.

I like the date and I'd like it even better if it was 18th ... I'm away on 11th but if the date works for everybody else ...

if anybody fancies a change of track, we have a nice one in Bromley - Bromley South and Hayes stations are a bus ride away

I remember that track too. It's nice but it did take me nearly two hours to get from there back home......near Tower Hill. I remember swearing blind I'd never go there without a car again.

Ah Norman Park, where I successfully trialled for the mini marathon many, many, many years ago. Sounds like a cracking idea, especiqlly if south of the river
