Mile followed by party on the Saturday would be a good idea. Pratting around at the track, couple in the secret garden and then a train into town. Santa hats etc at the mile.

Good idea
May lose some of the post work crowd but gain some out of towners. Esp. if we make a big thing of it from early enough on.

Wet in London, in winter, no way - it'll be sunny and/or snowing. Any way I have a coat!
plan - we pick start point and end point. Everyone names a nice pub/bar on the way between the two.
The Route Czar has final call.
Route goes up on thread with estimated arrival times times and hey nonny nonny nay its Jingle Bells Santa Smells all the way to mega headache land!
