I think it's commenting on the agreed draw, not saying it was even throughout. The graph indicates white has a decent advantage from about two thirds of the way through. Whether that's a human advantage Vs a computer advantage is another question.

Weath is making me think a lot again, although I think I might be coming out on top just about this time.
Mr D is about to go swap crazy in the centre, but I think I have worked an advantage when the dust settles.

I have a couple of games with a zig zag of pawns right across the centre of the board, vs monsenb1 and bja61. Both games have descended into pretty slow progress as we've both tried to pick our way past the blockade.
