Mandymoo Jan 2023 4:38pm, 24 Jan 2023 16,047 posts	0 Mandymoo Quick question for all who have travelled Scotland/live there etc. What's the situation like with midges and bugs in September Looks like out travel plans this year may be changing - was doing Luxembourg/Black Forest and France in June but OH wants to do Dordogne area instead (we were going there September) so thinking of doing Lakes/Scotland/Northumberland September instead

Eynsham Red Mar 2023 3:13pm, 17 Mar 2023 9,561 posts	0 Eynsham Red We’ve just returned from a week away in Devon with our motorhome. I’d forgotten how much nicer it is to drive than my car. The view from the cab is much better and we see so many more sights from that higher position. It was also nice, as we were on a pitch with electric to have our heating (electric powered) on at our preferred temperature and not have to consider the cost as we might when at home.

Any suggestions for nice low-key sites for our VW Campervan. We don’t even need hook up, but a toilet is handy.

Doing some vague planning for 4 weeks in France in May. Won't book anything, certainly this far in advance, as we'll see where the mood and the weather takes us. Newhaven to Dieppe crossing booked, and plan to drop down to the Loire and across to Nantes. Getting quite excited.
