Wow, gropper and LEO heart

Our house martins are back :-) I've been searching the skies in vain and then last night a couple popped their heads out from a nest underneath our eaves. I have no idea how they snuck back in without me spotting them - as flanker will confirm, I'm pretty vigilant when it comes to looking out for my favourite little birds ;-)

Any reports locally yet DT? It might influence where I go for my recovery stroll later :-)

Baildon yes flanker but not seen any mention in Calderdale area yet. Slippery Ford and walk up the track to Keighley res is what we’ll do. There’s a spot behind our house that’s good (open with a few lone trees) and I’ve heard them from the garden before. Your other option I guess is try for a wood warbler at Hardcastle Craggs ;-)

We've got a pretty reliable spot just off the PWB that's a short walk away.

If I'm off to the Crags I think I'd rather hunt for the pied fly :)

House martins haven’t made it back to their usual nest spots here and no swallows yet either :(
I did get a flash of kingfisher on the Kingfisher way and the grey wagtails are back at their spot under the A1 bridge over the river :)

No cuckoo. Had a little drive round looking for possible sites for woodcock roding but nothing ‘on patch’ I could think of
