DT I was looking for the well camouflaged bird in that picture for ages
Had a small bird singing at the top of the tree this morning but we couldn't identify the call. It's was 3 sets of three notes: high high high, higher higher higher, lower lower lower.
Any ideas?

You’ve reminded me we heard an unfamiliar song today: a repeated descending theme, with a metallic almost glassy sound. 8 - 10 notes, high, in woodland

funny, we decided to call it a great tit (or actually a pair off great tits as there were two singing to each other).
