My chiff is back and me and Stef got to do the chiffchaff dance together this morning
Also saw dipper, nuthatch (heard previously on patch but not seen), singing song thrush, plus a robin with a huge mouthful of nesting material

I'm feeling left out.... Had a couple of possible chiff chaffs, but they sounded a bit flat in their singing.

First singing blackcap of the year for me today! That's an unprecedentedly short time after the first chiffchaff (hereinafter referred to as 'CC-BC delta'). Nuthatches calling today, loud shouty songthrushes, and multiple chiffchaffs. It's spring!

Forgot to say, last weekend I thought I saw my first house martins in Denbigh. I was doing the Denbigh 10k at the time, so was possibly hallucinating though!
