I've only once 'bagged' The Nab and that day saw herds of (red) deer when on a circular route that took in Beda Fell, Angletarn Pikes, Brock Crags, Rest Dodd...and The Nab.

Thanks flanker, to be honest, I don't care. Wet feet during the UTLD100 is the least of my problems ;-)

I've also only been on the Nab once. Seen the Martindale red deer loads of times though.

Imposing fell from below, access is tricky though.

Not proud, but will be honest, I went down the nose of The Nab and then took the track from the Bungalow back to my car parked at the spot between Hallin Fell and Pikewassa.
