Nobody famous or notable that I'm certain went to my old school. Ian Stringer, the BBC Radio Leicester sports reporter grew up in the area so might have done.

My dad, though, went to the same school as the Attenboroughs. Not in the same year, though.

Without looking it up, I only know one - Martin Freeman - as he was in my sister's year. We also had a teacher, Sean Devereux, that became (in)famous for being assassinated in Somalia when working for UNICEF.

According to wikipedia:
John Boorman, British film director
Tim Brabants, British World Champion Canoeist Olympic K1000 Gold Medallist
Tony Doyle, Cycling World Pursuit Champion 1980 & 1986
Andrew Mackinlay, MP
Martin Freeman, actor
Ian Selley, Arsenal FC 1992–1997
Sir Kieran Prendergast, British diplomat
Sev Lewkowicz, session musician (Mungo Jerry, Dennis Locorriere)
