Nice Linds!

Although I am feeling better than yesterday after throwing loads of anti-virals at myself, I am having another day on the sofa... Sorting out quotes and invoices this morning, then I shall go sort out the grernhouse! I need to pot on tomatoes and cucumbers and sow other things...

Have to love a newt for going further because you feel good.

Newt appointment today for my vax on Sunday!! They booked hubby at same time. Good to know there is no anaesthetic in the vaccine.

In other newts I have my GNR capris on today for my yoga and wearing purple to remember a running club colleague taken to soon and it’s his funeral today.

My condolences GG!

Well, having just finished the amazing book by Ganor Maté: When the Body Says No, my newt today is to not fight the remnants of my cold/flu. I have been saying yes to the body and have been on the sofa with coffee, toasted chocolate and almond sourdough, the cat, beautiful classical music, ticking off the many books I have on the go but never give myself time to finish.

Just heard back from todays client and am going there later to put the last few metres of edging in together. A pleasant, easy job in good company.

Just been to my drying shed to retrieve perennial sweet pea seeds, now soaking for sowing tomorrow.

Just going to work out a quote for plants, invoice the client, then back to my books for an hour...

Restorative yoga tonight.

I'm the same as Linds - some kit (t-shirts) rarely comes out of the drawer so I need to circulate it better. I think I'll sort it out and colour co-ordinate different t-shirts to wear with newt leggings/skorts/shorts/capris.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
