Not even bothering to try and put up a fight now. Session and a half lasted out of 6. After the India debacle and this we really are a mess; no idea of the top order, too many all rounders, no idea who our test spinner is, decent cricketers who have performed at international level like Raschid, Hameed fobbed off while county level no marks fail time and time again.
It's like the 90s all over again, love it!

Hameed has scored very few runs for Lancs but as we see with Ballance scoring loads at county level is proof of not very much. On a plus point the series is alive!

Wriggling Snake
Moeen is our best all rounder.
Rashid is our best spinner.
I think it is very difficult to make lots of changes but the number 3 spot is one. So Root can bat there he may as well.
However the batting is the problem and I don't see an easy fix anywhere.....Hales. Stoneman. England need someone who can stick in there.
