I admit I did try to watch an IPL game at the weekend. Gave up after 20 minutes. There had been 15 advert breaks and about 15 more times when it went silent and cut to a picture of the ground overlayed with a scorecard (presumably while the Indian TV viewers had another ad break). Final straw was talking to a fielder while he actually fielded the ball. No. No. No. No. No. No. #propercricket

They don't like Surrey much more than we do. I'd rather go in with Hampshire or Notts.

So... first two games back in div 1 we've got ourselves into losing positions and, with the blessing, will end up with a draw and a win. Happy days.
