(seriously, this really should be a draw! If there was one problem with Stokes' heroics, it was that it left SA batting on a Day 2/3 pitch, when it was at its best. Should've batted an hour into day 3 /til we were all out...)

Agreed Crashers. Even if we escape with a draw the psychological lift the South Africans will take from the last 3 days will be massive.

Still, I'd have taken a 1-0 lead after 2 tests any day....

Random stat. Final test is at Centurion, where SA have never lost against India, Sri Lanka, NZ, Pakistan, W.Indies, Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, but never won a test against England, in 4 attempts. Their last 6 wins there have all been by an innings.
