Cheg
I have been offered a ticket for the fifth day. I ask boss at the start of the day if I can have some short notice holiday. He is leaving me hanging and not giving me a definite answer. Fear the tickets will go. Nightmare!

Ring in sick; don't wear anything likely to get you on the telly. What could go wrong? :)

That was a seriously dull day of Test cricket; there were no chances or excitement whatsoever. Great if you're an Aussie (or a batsman) but it's done the game no favours (and I think I'd still be saying that if England were 3 ton and several for one)

Based on yesterdays pitch, that is a safe bet Cheg - good luck with the boss

Question is, what do England need to do to get a breakthrough, or are we already playing for a draw as the dark lord says?

Wriggling Snake
Basically, Australia will go mad today, we'll be looking down the barrel of 600+ for very few wickets with an hour to play.

I see Lyth lashing the ball to boundary, and then getting out, I see balance caught lbw in his crease and bell looking dodge, 30-2, long day today, long day tomorrow.

Cook, it revolves around Cook.

Morning Wrigglers, morning everyone.

I'd planned a day off for today, but have come to work to do some admin, it was so dull yesterday. I will at least have it burbling away in the background. Quite frankly, I reckon my granny could play on this with a stick of rhubarb. She may not be good at quick singles, on account of being dead, but she'd probably play well behind the wicket and straight down the ground.

being dead? Pah! Your granny always has an excuse for not scoring quickly. Is she called Tavare?
