I was advocating that he had had his time - which he had - but as you so often see with 'all rounders', form with one affects form with the other. I'm mostly pleased because he is a Taunton lad, like me and I have watched his career since he was breaking records at Kings' School at the age of 14.

It will be totally up to Anderson when he goes. Much like cook it could be a sudden decision, but I get the feeling that he wants to go to Australia next winter. As long as form doesn't desert, I can see him calling a day maybe summer 2022.
