Did you see the catch she took in the last ODI - diving right to take a reverse sweep one handed? Exceptional.

Test Match was at Wormsley - which is Bucks - SE
1 game at Lord's - SE
2 games in Hove - SEx2
1 game at Chelmsford - SE
1 game at Southampton - SE
1 game at Durham - North

Bear in mind that most of the games in the SE are about an hour and half's drive apart at most

It would take me an hour and a half to drive to Durham from Leeds

Before that series, there was the Pakistan:
3x Loughborough - Midlands (and an hour and a half from Leeds)
1x Louth - Lincolnshire (Midlands, but really middle of nowhere - again nearly 2hrs from Leeds)

Just using Leeds as an example, but there are plenty of places in Yorkshire/Lancashire that could have staged Women's international games.

Not surprised, after all, London gets two test matches every summer, so the SE bias is firmly entrenched, just as it is in all politics in this country unfortunately. The SW and North just gets shafted! Time for an independent North! If Scotland can do it, so can we (and given how many Yorkshire and Lancashire players are in the England team, England Lions/U19s, we'd do ok as well ;-))

Watford! That's in the bloody SE as well!

Bomb the lot of it. ;-)

And the party political broadcast goes on a bit longer than that, Gobi! :-)

Ooh but weren't there 3 men's tests in the north?! ;-)

Saying that, I happily travel for cricket. Most of my viewing this summer has been at Lords and The Oval, both 90 ish minutes away....

I blame my cornish upbringing where I had to travel to get *anywhere*.

Have 2015 locations been announced yet?

It must be frustrating fozzy!

Really inconsiderate making us go to Australia really, maybe cancel the winter series and just get all the tests in the north of the UK next summer. I like watching the weather forecast while waiting for a break in the rain :¬)
