Just listened to the Bairstow interview with Michael Vaughan via BBC podcast. Very moving story and well worth a listen if you have a spare hour. It made me wonder if they would make him vice captain in the absence of Stokes? Any other contenders? Maybe Anderson?

First WODI in Brisbane tomorrow. Tickets sold out so if we can get a decent amount of cricket played it should be a good atmosphere.
The weather here has been wet for the last couple of weeks though slightly better forecast for tomorrow. I just wonder if the ground will be waterlogged.
The game is at Allan Border Field, where QLD play some Sheffield Shield games, so hopefully it will be okay but the ground staff are not used to dealing with kind of weather at this time of year. Short sharp storms are common but this has been consistent drizzle for over a week - just like back in Stockport.

We've got brilliant sunshine here at The Cora (home of the mighty Springfield CC of the T. Rippon Mid-Essex League). A bit like being in Australia.
