Yes, that's what makes me angry. That if people don't comply with the "lighter touch" rules we'll all have to go into harsher restrictions.
I went to see my grandmother last night. It's always a hard decision whether to go or not because of her age and the guilt I'd feel if we increased her risk, but with the prospect of an increase in cases/restrictions on the horizon it felt like we had to seize the opportunity. My uncle lives with her so at least she's not alone, thankfully.

I'm feeling guilty that I didn't manage to see my Mum in the 3 weeks we were out of local lockdown

Little Miss Happy
My bubble is very small compared to that graphic - me, husband and MiL. The only other interactions are very occasional MiL with my BiL and his partner. BiL is very aware, they maintain distance in the house, don't sit face to face to eat etc and they've been three times since this started.
HB - I'm fine at the moment but it was out of stock when I tried to order some in my weekly shop so I may get back to you. Thank you.
TMW - it's horrible to feel like that and it shouldn't happen. I'm glad you reported it because even if no immediate action was taken continued reports will increase the likelihood of something being done.
I think the table service only restriction will probably have more impact than the 2200hrs closing.
Can't remember any more to comment, it was a bit of a mammoth catch up. Sorry if I've missed anyone/thing.

My bubble (contacts) is very small ... me & Mrs Um ... - unless you count the people in the queue to the village shop - or the people I stop and talk to on the way to and from the shop - the staff in the shop - the pub bar staff (even if only for a few mins) for the post run hydration - the postman - the Tesco delivery person (never the same one twice) - (actual family, are mainly phone or email. Only a few visits since the start of this)
None for 15 mins, <2m, but suddenly my contacts, which I think of as minimal, are quite large. And potentially infinite if I touch the bin handles, or count the postie & Tesco delivery persons contacts?

I find myself getting increasingly anxious this week about the whole situation. Maybe I'll feel better once we know exactly what the new measures are.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Thinking about it, I probably have a fairly large bubble of people I have been in contact with for more than 15 minutes, most of that time more than 2m away but probably less than 2m for brief periods. - husband (less than 2m naturally ) - mum (in ‘support bubble’ but trying to keep 2m apart as much as possible) - people I run with
- around 20 work colleagues (I can’t do my job from home)
Add to that the increasing number members of the public that come to my workplace, all contacts for less than 15 minutes but some are not so good at keeping 2m away or wearing a mask correctly. Plus other people in shops etc.
