A quiet start here (apart from my thunderous coughing) but I’ll be fetching youngest and her husband later and eldest arrives at around 4pm after work so we have a nice steady run-up to dinner.

No running for me, I’m off to spend the day with my dad and his fellow residents in the dementia unit, feeling grateful to have him for another year and counting my blessings that I’m not at that stage myself, then home for a very un-Christmasy Christmas dinner courtesy of M&S.
