Our latest resident. Seems to have a bit of bengal in him. Doesn’t know how to cat properly and may have to get knocked into shape by our permanent posse. But he’s very friendly and beautiful.

Right had to chase Tilly round the house to get her into her carrier, and then the vet had the same problem when she wanted to do her vaccination

I had the issue trying to get Minky to the vet this afternoon. She’s like a furry eel with sharp claws.

One of ours is a bigger challenge to box up than any of the ferals and strays has ever been.

First hint of the crate and she’s hiding, running, scrabbling. Only reliable strategy is to grab her while asleep and stuff her inside before she realises.

GlennR I bought a carrier purely for Ellie - it has a top entrance, so I can grab her and shove her in from above. All this done in a small bathroom so she can't run away. It's impossible to put her in a standard cat carrier.

Oddly enough she isn’t any problem to get in the carrier. It’s catching her in the first place that’s the hassle.

Sunny is so used to the vet and is terrified every time that we have to hide the carrier and then quickly shove her in before she realises what’s happening!
