who mentioned Xmas (I've got a good start on my shopping too PPB - all about being organised and hating the crowded panic buying in December) reet I'll not mention it again.

Don't remind me.
Once my birthday (8 Dec) is out of the way, I've got a delightfully cheap couple of months, with Xmas, followed by our wedding anniversary/son's birthday (27th Jan) and the wife's birthday on 20th Feb, and some kind of commercial obligation to buy a crappy trinket on the 14th Feb as well. The house inurance is up for renewal on the 18th Feb as well for good measure.
I'd rather not wish that time of year to come more quickly, thanks...
