Will wearing Fetch vests be compulsory? I normally run in my charity's vest.

Fetch vests are never compulsory. If you're running for charity then that's more important, and you'll no doubt have extra cheerers along the route.

I'll be in Fetch colours again if I can persuade the missus to do a sports wash this week. I find the extra cheering opportunities from other Fetchies en-route to be a bonus.

Bother! ankle knack is still in full effect so I've only been able to stretch and have two weeny 3k runs in the last week and a half. first thing in th emorning it is all I cna do to walk till it eases up.

I can see my hopes of getting a good time receding and being replaced by a fervent prayer of just getting to the finish without permanent damage.
