I thought that I had better bring this to peoples attention. I had a call today from Premier Inn in Durham where we are staying before the GNR to ask if we would be interested in transport to an from the race for £8 per person return and they would also take spectators to the finish as well. Even though I have been considering getting train tickets to and from Newcastle this allows my group to see me start and finish as opposed to just one. These returns were about £4 each, but as this picks you up from the hotela and drops you back I thought why not.
Then I found out how much other people were paying for the same sort of thing through Nirvana - £22 each from the same hotel - this really does smack of profiteering to me.

Phew glad some more packs are arriving :0 Pestomum???
I'm good. Prolly no trained as well as I'd have hoped but a couple of slightly over distance long runs an hopefully another couple of miles longer on Wednesday an I'll be ready esp after a nice speedier than hoped 10k in Glasgow yesterday an I think I'm ready enough to do myself some justice
