Congrats to all who ran. Special congrats to you Forest, for a big PB on a day when no one should be able to run a PB. I, on the other hand, I flirted with a Personal Worst. Stupidly failing to dress properly helped with that, fighting hypothermia for the second half of the race.

Well done everyone who braved the conditions. I don't think I've ever felt colder during/after a race, very glad I had a base layer under my t-shirt.
Sweaty Frank, thanks again for the bar recommendations, we ended up stumbling on a place just a block off the family meeting area but I checked out the Tam on Tuesday, definitely my kind of bar.

Well done to all who ran, it sounds like the weather wasn't kind at all this year.

I'm after any advice or tips you folks might have, ready for 2016. I have just run 3:12:29 at Brighton and therefore have a qualifying time. I hope that the 2min31 sec buffer is enough but I do have another marathon soon where I can try and improve a bit.

So, I believe registration will start in the "fall", about mid Sept looking at previous years. Any thoughts on flights from London, hotels, things to see?

We've done several overseas marathons including New York, Paris, Amsterdam etc and usually I book everything asap but now I will have to wait to (hopefully) be accepted.

Some good flight prices at the moment with Are Lingus (from regional airports via Dublin) for Boston 2016 flights. I'm seriously thinking about doing it in 2016.

Oh, that's good to know. Difficult to know whether to book flights before the entries open.

I was wondering that too. My qualifying time is almost 30 mins inside qualifying (3:18/3:45) so I'm hoping it will be OK to take a risk on booking the flights as I should be able to apply on day one - unless I have computer glitch on the day!
