Fun fact (not that fun actually) - I was in Frome at the weekend and they had signed copies of this month's book. I managed to restrain myself as I have it on order at the library

I was helped in my restraint by it being hardback copies at £14.99. They did look very handsomely arranged.

Ah, that would've helped me immensely.

A question for the book group: I sometimes feel like that consuming audiobooks isn't really reading them at all*. I am currently listening to a dramatised performance of some novels (BBC radio productions) - that doesn't count at all, does it?

*When I think back on books I've read, sometimes it's hard to remember which were which medium. I think that shows that there's not a huge difference, the pictures are the same in the head. The main difference is that with audiobooks you know how to pronounce unusual words and names, and with physical books you know how to spell them.
