Oh, I hope she doesn't get arrested for sleeping somewhere that isn't home - maybe during the day gets around the law?

Having said that, I have no problem with what she's doing and am very grateful to have a tracker to watch at last this summer.

Go Sabrina! :)

Am I reading the tracker correct ?

Start Tue 03:00, eta Finish Mon 03:48, so an estimate time of 6d 0h 48m

Or do the ETAs not include planned rests ?

Only just seen this and my first thought was the same as Rosehip's. I wonder what Mr Slattery's view is on that one given he/Cumbria Police issued a statement yesterday that included:

"Again camping has been a problem across the area with tents, campervans and motorhomes in rural locations. The Government has released new guidance on gatherings, public spaces and outdoor activities with the changes in lockdown restrictions. This guidance and extensive questions and answers are available the Government's own website and they make it clear that all overnight stays away from home are still prohibited."

Given he will certainly know about the attempt through his running/social connections it would appear to put him a rather difficult position.

I knew Sabrina had an attempt planned for around now but I'm a bit gob smacked she has gone ahead to be honest. I can see it getting some unwanted publicity for both her and fellrunning in general.

And then I look at FB to see Mr Slattery has posted in the last 30 minutes a link to the current Corona Virus Regulations (law not guidance). I think I'd call that a friendly warning to stop before being stopped.

Pretty much what Bobs and I have been saying Dave, I don't want to be judgemental but I'd say it was a poor decision to go ahead with this, monumental challenge though it is.

I just find it unfathomable for so many reasons. The legality, the support logistics in the current climate (and the legal implications for supporters as well), the fact that if she achieves anything like what she wants to it will attract a lot of attention and publicity etc.

As Andy Berry has put on fb I'd love to see her smash the Wainwrights out... Just not now.

I’ve just been for a bit of a run out with Stef and told her about this. She was surprised with the timing
