I couldn't help wondering though during Boris' speech as to whether he realises how long some people exercise for in a single session? I suspect he might be rather surprised by the concept of a 24+ hour ultra!

Does a full recce of the Spine count as one outing? ;-)

I was sat there thinking the same.

I had tentative plans for a Calderdale Way run to celebrate a significant birthday in April (since they cancelled Fellsman & 3 Peaks). I'd decided it wasn't viable, but almost having second thoughts now ;-)

Tod Graham? I would like to give it a go myself, it will be up there on the list when circumstances permit.

I did. Frankly, I don't see the point - we don't get that much overseas interest do we? It would be a huge task to accurately translate into multiple languages.

I thought it might be a little project for you to do the Russian ;-)

Joking apart I'd think anyone from overseas interested in doing a Bob Graham would probably be able to read English to a decent degree anyway

I must admit that I thought about it, an interesting exercise. I have been following Team Inov8 Russia for a while on Facebook so am acquainted with some of the specialist vocabulary.

NE, will do a Tod Graham at some point over the next few weeks anyway as it's basically a loop of the house, and I run most of it at some point most weeks. (caveat: assuming the fitness/health continues to improve again!)

We're actually lucky that we have a number of "ways" that loop around the house to some extent - Calderdale, Rochdale, Burnley, Tod Centenary and a couple of smaller ones all pass within about a mile of the front door :-)
