I did spend far longer than was strictly necessary lingering in the bike aisle at Decathlon at the weekend. Went in for inner tubes (£2.50 for 2), almost left with a new bike.

I managed an aquathlon on Saturday but got terrific cramp in my calves as I took my wetsuit off. I hobbled around for 5k but the pain is only just beginning to go :-(. It's a bit off-putting.

Sorry to hear that Cyclops. Someone suggested to me that trimming a few centimetres off the sleeves and legs of a wetsuit makes it easier to get it off but that seems like a nuclear option to me.

Just takes time to get used to changing sports
As for the wetsuit I have never cut one but put body glyde on my ankles and wrists
Also practice taking it off using the standing technique
