My neighbour is really funny. If I whatsapp a pic of what I've baked she's round like a rat out of a trap for a slice to take home for her and her husband (I always offer she's the best neighbour in the world). I did ask how I never manage to catch her in a meeting and she fessed up to telling her big boss about the arrangement so she can dash over if there's cake on offer.

It's an all in one recipe with oil rather than butter and it takes 5 minutes with a hand mixer and usually comes out light.

hillfarmoils.com But I just use supermarket vegetable oil, I don't fuss what kind (not olive as distinctive flavour). Now my secret is out. If I bake that it means I didn't have time to make something proper or I couldn't be bothered. Just don't tell anyone. |
