We have two for recycling - blue for paper/cardboard abd then orange for plastics/cans. We then have to take our own glass to recycling.

(Mundane thread LG? 😉) Morning all. Gym in a bit, then lunch with friends for me today. I hurt my hand/wrist again yesterday so I don't know how lifting weights will go. |

I’d always wanted to run a full marathon before I hit 40 and managed 3 but I don’t think I could do the training that I did 10 years ago to run another Your times and mileage are similar to mine @ho, ho, honestmackem 🎅🏼 so don't see why you couldn't do another marathon if you really wanted. I ran my first 10 years ago aged 61and I'm already signed up for my sixth next year! BTW I'm celebrating 50 next year too - not in age though but years married. We'll be racing on the actual day! 🤣 |

Congratulations too @ItsBeginningToLookALotLikeIdris and @MaltDrinker 🎉 I had to come up with something different as I think my wife would kill me knowing I’d be training most nights/weekends again - and then finding one close by! |

A 5k, a 10k and a half each month sounds like a tough challenge without adding in a marathon! I started my day by way of a telephone call from my husband, who was trapped in the bathroom because the handle had broken. It was also broken on the outside, so I had to kick it in. |

Is it wrong to laugh, Carp? Baby locked himself in once and I had to climb up on the bins and squeeze through a tiny window. I doubt I could do it now. |

That's a shame AL. Luckily Flossie is unperturbed by fireworks.
