Hi gonks. I'm sat on the sofa ready for a lazy day with the cats, feeling very pleased after finally getting my Bronze 5K club standard. 23.42 this morning at Alvaston parkrun. I'm so happy!!!!! Sounds like lots of lovely mornings on the thread |

Have no idea who either of them are Lip Gloss. Must have been great to see family TeeBee. Rubbish grumpy run for me. Hail and rain but typically the sun is now shining. Will be going out for a walk later and hopefully feeling less grumpy . |

I've done no running and am on the sofa watching The Third Man (for the umpteenth time) but I did have an unexpected brunch at the Donkey Sanctuary with the grandchildren this morning, which was fun. We all gave Janet the donkey an ear tickle

Parkrun this morning followed by another 18 laps a mile a lap. Today was a memorial run for Steve who passed away in Chester after going up for the marathon and not coming home. Yesterday would have been his 50 birthday and he had 100K race planned for today so me and other friends/family all ran laps of the park after parkrun to get 100K in total we got over 300 miles and raised a few ££ for the heart foundation. After bath just watched the first F1 race of the season. |
