I want to improve from now where most of my running is at a steady pace and I feel I can't go faster in case of injury. Still I'm grateful I can run, I know many are not able to
Sombrero 28 Feb 4:59pm, 28 Feb 2024 13,961 posts	0 Sombrero I used to find it hard to run at the easy pace suggested for me but it's worked along with speedier sessions to get me fitter and faster for parkruns etc so seeing the benefits has helped me stick to it Andy. Track tonight. I've had a day of dealing with frustrating people so I am totally ready for it!!

OH had a very small tear in his retina which the retinal surgeon was able to sort out with his laser there and then (when OH messaged me to say 'detached retina' I was horrified as OH keeping still for weeks while a gas bubble reattached the retina was not a happy prospect!) So we're at the seaside now and I'm cross with myself for not going out for the club run tonight (it's a damp and dreary evening) because my plan to go to the strengthening class tomorrow has been scuppered by needing to help out with the grandchildren tomorrow. And I wonder why I feel so unfit
