Morning, and good luck Sweetie!

Why didn't I run yesterday in the sunshine?? It's lashing down with rain and blowing a hoolie here today, and according to the forecast it's set in for the day 🙁. If I don't go out today though, I won't run until Tues due to work. Ugh!!

Any tree experts in here?
On yesterday's run, we spotted a tree with 2 different types of foliage. Yes, on one trunk.
Any ideas?



Or is there an 'odd trees' thread?

Could be a parasitic thing? Or a seed of "broccoli tree" lodged in a crack of original tree then growing? Interesting!

I'd wondered about a seed that sprouted in a crack too TM.

Finally arrived at Fetch Towers having covered 195 miles this month (65 run and 120 walk), which is a lot for my little legs.

Horrific weather out there, nearly lost my contact lenses a couple of times in heavy rain - but, as Swittle said a couple of days ago, somehow all the more satisfying for that (once you're back home warm and dry).

Not the morning I expected! We woke up to no water supply, quickly discovered that a major main had burst, much of the town was in the same boat ;-) and it would be hours before it was sorted.

So, still in my running kit, I've driven us down to the seaside ahead of schedule and once my lunch has gone down I'll do the 5k app try-out here this afternoon. Means I've missed out on my weekly catch-up with friends though :-(
