Lowest mileage in forever here but I went back to Zumba last night. The teacher asked me afterwards if I was ok and I said ‘I didn’t realise how much bouncing I usually do in this class!’ The floor is very hard there, most aerobics studios have a sprung floor but this is a school hall and solid wood, so no bouncing. I’m off to bounce at the trampoline place this morning though :)

Hope you're on the mend, Fleecy.

For me, 3.5 miles done and my second highest Jan.

I'm also at home, Carp :)

Morning! Second highest January for me, but after walking the dog in wellies (me, not the dog) I'm currently sitting with my foot up and slathered in Voltarol :-( Today is a rest day, which is just as well because I wouldn't want to run and risk it today. I hope it's better for my 7 miles tomorrow.

Morning, folks.
I hoped to hit 20 miles for January but if I stick to the plan, I will be 19.something. Might just stretch this afternoon's session a bit ;)

Crikey, there's some impressive mileages being racked up on this thread.

I managed to get 4 miles in this morning, in the wind & rain. That gives me 130 miles for January.

Get well soon to all those on the injury bench or have got colds & sniffles.

Mrs12bar & I are off to the village hall this afternoon for a talk & slide show on the wildlife in our area. Just hope I can keep my eyes open. There's nothing more embarrassing than being the only bloke in the hall who is snoring & dribbling in his sleep.

Oh LD :( stay away from the wellies! - I have Muckboots for dog walking (except that they've about had it) better than wellies, but I think even they don't support my feet enough.

7.6 run in the wind - brings me to 100.5 for Jan. Jan is the month each year I am most likely to manage 100 - hopefully this year I won't be tailing off in March as I have done before.

Hello all - been awol due to life and struggling today as I had just over 1 hours sleep last night. Hope life will calm down after tomorrow and I can get my life back.

LD I cant wear wellies at all - really hurt my feet. I really want to run at the moment but from my knees down just aches constantly so what little hope I had is now gone. Havent even managed to get on the bike yet this year. Swimming is happening though

Hope all those racing his weekend have a good run - do some miles for me please

I did give up on wellies a long time ago for the same reasons as RH and Mandy but I needed wet weather footwear and I thought I could get away with it just the once. It does show me how fragile my foot recovery is though :-(
