Morning all!
I've got the Fetch Christmas skin without asking! Clever old Fetch ;)
Well done all you RtS-ers!
I'm completing a 5K every day challenge today but that has been running or walking - still feels like an achievement though, and it's given me my highest mileage month for a long time.

So impressed by the RtS people. It occurred to me that I should try and do it whilst I'm still wfh. Perhaps Jan.

Thanks, Teebs. Those blimmin static lunges were the worst!

I am too - I would do it, but I know it wouldn't be sensible!

Good morning.

Slumped on a settee and unable to conceive that I am in fact a runner. Hope nonetheless to prove it later, after the fog has lessened.

Beyond running I have three important things to complete in the next three days.

Morning gonkzillas. 11-8 wfh today for me. Off to the back room in a min.

Planning on a lunchtime run to finish November off. When I say lunchtime, it's 3pm when I get my hour break.

RtS complete, but with a sore foot. Think my next attempt will be February ;-)
I don't think my problem is gout, um, because my foot is neither red nor swollen, nor hot. It doesn't hurt if I don't put weight on it. It could be sesamoiditis, I've had that before in the ball-of-foot, big toe joint area. It should settle if I take a few days off running 🤞

RtS done and dusted and, with 109 miles for the month, my highest ever monthly mileage :-)

I wouldn't normally run 2 days back to back, much less 30 and it was a rather foolish jump in mileage, given my lack of running this year, but it was also more doable than I had imagined, the couple of days dropping back to 1 or 2km gives you enough recovery time between each of the 'peaks' of longer run days and it is a great incentive to get out of the door.
I need a couple of lighter weeks now but I'd definitely do it again in the New Year.
Congrats to the other RtSers - it is lovely to see so many 700ers at the top of the table, you guys rock! :-)

It's been like a branch of the 700 thread on the RtS thread at times! I'm very pleased I've done it. I know for some of you the mileage is no biggie but 109 miles for the month and 35 miles in one week are both my 'highest evers' and I have certainly never run every day for 30 days before. Until my foot started playing up on those tough last few days I was feeling much stronger as a runner.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
