Sorry where’s my manners DOOONNKS !!
Made it up to QE park for a coffee v pleasing
In a bit of a quandary over Beachy I’m not up to requisite mileage and it’s fine to get MrS to collect me before the interesting bit but does that mean I should still taper? I’m running ten mile runs this week and I’m enjoying it, with lots of hills and walks and stops, but I can’t quite decide whether to just keep doing it and drop mileage every 4th week to have a rest

McGoohan
Hurtleberry is a good option (not on the NDW though, but touches the GSW)

Thanks all. Back settled at home, just need to make sure TP or I are only a phone call away. He's accepting of help / adaptations which is good, so best outcome of a bad situation.
Thanks again for the best wishes xx

dipps, is it too late to defer, or change down to the half? I know you love it and you've come such a long way, but it would be awful if you broke again. (()) You could just go and have a bit of a run somewhere along the way if you're there anyway.

Sports massage done. Timed it well after yesterday’s long run. Think Achilles is a wee bit irritated. So must remember to do some stretching after runs.

I have Sports massage booked for Wednesday first since pre-lockdown. My masseur commented on face book after seeing I had run Sunday and has announced she is working again :-)

I was a body for a sports massage exam on Saturday. I felt quite safe. Masseur wore a mask and perspex face shield, plus plastic apron. He wiped my skin with antiseptic wipes. If you lie face down they suggest you take your mask off as it's low risk and endures you can breathe. Lying on you back you have your mask on.

I see Sharon @ Aberdeen Sports Massage. She’s really good.

That’s my second one post lockdown. The only problem with the masks is that she can’t see me grimace! :)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
