Fragile Do Not Bend
Morning! Some belated bunting for groundhog. :)

I’m not at work today so I decided it was time to get neck/upper back issues sorted out that have been grumbling around for a while but have got a bit worse recently and I’ve started getting (what I think is) brachialgia. I filled in the eConsult form on the practice website last night and I was called at 8am by the surgery offering my a physio appointment his afternoon. I’m very pleased with this new system.

That was a nice change. I left the bungalow at 7.30 this morning & ran along to Worthing Pier & back. There wasn't breath of wind in either direction. Most unusual.

To make it even better, there was an almost ethereal quality about the view out to sea. You couldn't see where the sky & the sea met, there appeared to be no horizon. I wish I'd had my mobile phone to capture the lovely scene. Monet would have had a field day with that view. Errrr, if he was alive that is. Well, I'm sure you all know what I mean.

Groundhog
On the train to Oxford for a long bike ride back home via Henley. There will be hills, but I need to get something epic in before the poor weather hits tomorrow. Pluses for this morning - I got a space for my bike and a seat.

So my run was only a smidge over 5 miles but it was gorgeous :-) A perfect Autumn day. The bonus was meeting a couple of women from my NCT group from 30 years back - they are doing a sponsored walking thing called 'Miles for Refugees' by the Red Cross. Lovely to catch up with them, after quite a few years!

Some great runs on the thread. I ran back from physio, just over 4 miles.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
